When you buy a Summit Mods product you get a licence to use it, not ownership of the product itself. A product page can set out extra or different terms for that product, and those take priority over this page.
You can
- Use the product on game servers you own or run, under the Cfx.re account it was delivered to.
- Change its configuration, and edit any files that are not escrowed, for your own servers.
- Show it in screenshots and videos of your server.
You can’t
- Resell, share, give away or redistribute the product or any part of it, edited or not.
- Upload it to another store, marketplace, leak site or public repository.
- Claim it, or anything made mainly from it, as your own work.
- Try to remove or get around FiveM Asset Escrow or any other protection.
Escrowed products
Products protected with FiveM Asset Escrow are tied to the Cfx.re account that bought them, and run only on servers whose license key belongs to that account. Each product page says whether it is escrowed. See escrowed resources.
If the licence ends
The licence ends if the purchase is refunded or charged back, or if these terms are broken. You must then stop using the product and delete your copies.
Third-party parts
Where a product includes someone else’s work, such as open-source code or licensed assets, its product page or included files say so, and that work stays under its own licence.
Custom development
What you may do with commissioned work, including exclusivity, is agreed in your written quote.
